Best of Britain

Today I was wandering around the city centre when I noticed a whole load of Union Jack flags in the central square. Naturally I was drawn to them! As it turned out, there was a market and a couple of the stands were from Manchester, selling British products, such as cheeses, cups, plates, tea, Next to them was a German couple selling fudge from Britain. I'm not really sure how that worked...I bought some though. On the whole it's tasty except for a lemon piece which tastes like soap.

I also bought two different kinds of cheese, one smoked cheddar and one with spring onions! I have much higher hopes for those. It was just nice to see something from 'home' momentarily!
