Down but not out...

Really busy and active day outdoors today...it started well. As it's Saturday when the alarm went off at 04hr45 I could hit the off button and roll back over to sleep:-)

In the morning I fitted in a run, some work, some yoga and a spot of election leafletting.

After lunch we all headed out on our bicycles for day 2 of the 30 days of cycling challenge. Mr R had the idea to take us up by The Swans Water...it's a bit of a tough climb out of the top of St.Ninians...there was a bit of wailing from the Barmy Army...excluding the wee fella as he just had to sit and be pulled along in the trail buggy...but they managed it.

The Swans Water road is a dirt track basically with some serious pot holes...poor Es in her white jeans came a cropper in one of them:-( She wasn't too chuffed but a few minutes later she was back riding again...what a trooper. As a true blipper I took a photograph of her predicament before helping her to set her bike right and clean her hands a bit...I was speaking soothing words as I snapped her;-)

This evening we watched Bolt...it's a real favourite for us all but especially the Rooster.

Posting this this evening I realise that I have totally miscalculated my blipday...I thought it was tomorrow and I had my blip all planned...might still use it anyway you'll just have to wait and see.

When I set out on this path a year ago I did doubt whether I would be able to post a photograph everyday...some times on busy days it has been tough and quite often I've had to make use of the back blip functionality but I've got there. This is a great community...encouraging and friendly and I love being part of it.

Because I'm always looking for a blip I look about me more and notice much more. It's made me more aware of my environment as I travel through my life.

With 365 blips under my belt I'm looking forward to being able to look back on what we were doing a year ago to the date and I'm looking forward to posting many more blips:-)
