Busy day............
.......For a change.
Out this morning to photograph the activities happening at a nearby primary school.
They are 50 years old and were having a fundraising fayre.
It was opened by the first headmistress the place had ..... 92 and still telling the staff (and several parents) what to do.
When it came to throwing the wet sponges at a teacher in the stocks there was a queue of about 20 kids for one particular teacher. I am not sure if he was popular or unpopular.
Needless to say the local press photographer turned up an hour and a half late (after the guest of honour had left)and blocked in people who were trying to leave ....... maybe I should negotiate a deal with the rag for pictures of the opening ceremony.
Having shot all the pictures in RAW, I spent the afternoon converting a load into jpeg so the school can use them.
This evening we went out for a meal with our sick friend and her hubby and ended up joining the local golf club.
No - I don't play golf and have no intention of starting ........ but 'Social' membership is only £10 a year and that lets me get in for the excellent food and drink which comes with a very reasonable price tag.
I am now very pleasantly stuffed and am going to bed to sleep it off.
