Evening Star Store

I went for a wander around the wharf area in Dunedin today, time was very limited and I came round the corner and found this building. Its obviously been a store for the old Evening Star newspaper and now unused and just wasting away. I remember as a kid the Evening Star and more importantly the Star Sports newspaper that was published on a Saturday night with all the Saturday sports coverage in it, who could forget the yellow cover page.....

It got me thinking........

Will the current generation of young people ever understand what it was like to live in a world without the internet and instant access to news and sports results among other things. It seems such a short time ago but a world away from what it was like for us as a child.

P.S. Dont deny it if you remember the Star Sports, like me you are an old bugger!!!!
