On a mission

I decided after my previous blip of lambs that it would be nice to get some cards printed for Easter to send to all the people I should keep in touch with and don't.

As ever, the perfectionist in me thought that I would go out and get some better shots of lambs for this purpose. It wasn't so easy today though as there's been frequent showers this morning, the ewes are being extra hypervigilant as people were walking with dogs, and because of the poor weather most of the wee little lambs were taking shelter in the hedgerows.

I like the symmetry of this shot, and despite the colours being really vibrant following the rain, I prefer the b&w shot. Sadly, I don't think it will be the shot I use for my cards.

The weather is meant to clear up soon and I'm hoping to get out for a longer walk - this time armed with camera and tripod! There's a slim chance that this photo may get changed if I take something that I think is worth replacing it with.

For those of you who viewed yesterdays blip, the backing up and sorting out of photos is going to be a long job. Unfortunately I have uploaded lots of photos onto to Flickr indiscriminately and the clean up is going to take a good long while.
