Some mothers do 'ave 'em...

.....m'mum and niece; so more of a grandma image than a mum image. The reason for gathering at the farm was to recognise and celebrate general mumminess. Obviously, Mothers Day is cynical marketing plot by greeting card makers and Interflora, but it gave us an excuse to gather.

Earlier, I collected Owen from Caitlin's where he'd spent the night. I don't know if Caity knows about this event, there could be trouble ahead.

The weather had been lovely all morning, so when the black clouds rolled in just before we arrived at the farm, I was a little miffed. However, by the time we'd enjoyed clotted cream scones and drunk lashings of pop, the sun had his hat on and 8 went adventuring.

Nice, simple family day.
