Sea, sea and more sea!
I just don't know where to start today. I have had such a lovely day for a puppy like me!
I slept really well at Aunty Eves. I was in my crate and it's just like a home from home. I didn't wake up until mum came down to let me out and BOY was I excited to see her! I was soooo happy that she was there with me and just couldn't wait to get started on my beach visits today.
Mum and I snuck off on our own to a little beach near Aunty Eves house. We went really early and there was no one there. We had it ALL to ourselves. It was AMAZING. Mum threw my tennis ball into the sea and I ran into the waves to get it. Waves were going right over my head and when I ran out I shook myself all down to the tip of my tail. It made mum laugh so much. I love it when she laughes.
Then a Jack Russell called Tilly came to the beach and we had a WHALE of a time. I practiced my boxing moves on her. I have such big paws they are great for boxing and it made mum and Tillys mum laugh a lot. I love making people laugh. I stop what I'm doing, look at them, then carry on again to make them laugh more.
We had to go in the end because mum needed to go back and help look after my little cousins whilst Aunty Eve made lunch. I laid in the sun in the patio window watching them play with her in the garden. I was a bit jealous but I was very tired and dropped off to sleep for a bit.
Then after lunch we went to ANOTHER beach. Wow! I couldn't believe my luck. We all went and everyone was throwing my football in the sea for me to get. One time it went quite far and when a wave came my feet suddenly didn't touch the floor anymore and I was SWIMMING! My mum was so proud. She was jumping up and down with excitement and clapping. I loved it! This is a picture of me on that beach after daddy had thrown my ball into the sea. Can you see how far it is? I did get really cold after a while and started shivering. The water was very brrrrrrrrrr! So mum said we had to go then so I could warm up and sleep in the car all the way home!
I'm all bathed now and smelling gorgeous mum says. I really want to get up for a cuddle but I have to wait until I dry off. Boo!
Mum has found a tick in my eyebrow. She's just waiting for our lovely guide dog trainer neighbour to come home and show her how to get it out. I really hope it doesn't hurt!
Bye for now
