Out with the sister to treat Mum to a Mother's day lunch at the conveniently located Room in the West End. A table at 12:30 and I knew that upstairs on TV in Teuchters bar, they were showing Hibs vs Hearts at 12:45. That is the love of a son! A walk back along the canal in fine spring sunshine past the massed ranks of municipal daffodils, and then some manly activities - chopping wood! Washing the car! Washing my warps, sheets and halyards (as everyone knows there's only one rope on a boat).
Only irksome thing - This Week still doesn't appear to be on catch up TV or the BBC iPlayer. Most distressing.
