he played football and brought home the shirts. they were a cheap lot apparently so no surprise that they're all the right size for a 16 stone bloke. mr skaterg1rl has many charms but being 16 stone is not one of them.

it felt a bit like a soap powder add with them all hanging on the pulley but i resolutely refused to play the part of soap powder mother and didn't lay a finger on them.

a family in search of exercise today - it amazes me what an effort it takes to keep fit in the scottish winter - carpet biter 2 played tennis, carpet biter 1 and i went skating (on a couple of indoor 5 a side football pitches). wanted to go fast but carpet biter 1 didn't like me dashing off (...or should that be 'showing off'..?) and i didn't fancy the idea of rupturing me stitches...
