Addie

This is a portrait of Addie, our dog. Addie is my worst model, by far. Every time I point the camera in her direction she gets all sheepish and lies down with her jaw firmly on the floor. Not the best pose for portraits.

Tonight I had my girls cajole Addie with "pup-peroni" treats. That got her attention, and I managed to get a few usable shots, but the whole process was very chaotic; A lot of barking, jumping and rolling over. Still, for the sake of art, Addie managed to wolf down six whole pup-peroni treats. Next time I take the camera out I bet she won't be so sheepish!

While I do like this picture, I wish the eyes were in sharper focus and that there was a catch light in both eyes; It's on my to-do list for next time.
