Old Freestone Jail. Fairfield, Texas
Constructed in 1857, the main exterior walls are 30" thick. The interior walls are 18" thick with oakwood flooring reinforced with iron bars. I suppose the reason it was built that strong in those days is because anybody could get dynamite. They'd need it to bust some loose from this place. These days, with tv's, internet, PS3 etc. there is no need to try escape.
