really, it is this large!

We went to Sarasota and Osprey, FL today, it was a beautiful sunny Sunday. We decided to walk around Sarasota's Bayfront Park before having lunch at Spanish Point in Osprey. I have driven by this huge statue many times, but never walked around it before. Lots of people like to have their photograph taken under it, as you can see. I thought the tweaked version was more interesting than the straight out of the camera one . . . .
About this statue here, plus a few more of our day. So hard to decide, but this one won out!
