Spring Has Sprung

Every year there's always a first day in the garden. A time when you realise that plants have come back to life and need some attention. Today was it and I started by clearing some of the dead parts of plants and giving the lawn the first mow of the year. It was lovely to be out there. And, for the whole time I was working I was joined buy a little Robin. He was very friendly and came fairly close - spending some of time perched on the lawnmower. He seemed particularly happy as I removed weeds from a patch of garden as I was doing the work of finding the worms for him. I hope he stays around all summer.
