Epimedium grandiflorum Lilafee

A fantastically useful plant.

Spreads slowly and has these delicate flowers on long stems produced just at the same time as the young foliage. The young leaves themselves are attractive, heart shaped and with these variety a slight red edging to the stem.

I have three different varieties, underplanting rhodies etc, and I think all came from Edrom Nurseries in the Borders, whom I can heartily recommend.
