Spanish City

Showing my age today. Some of you may recall Dire Straits made a song about this place "Like the Spanish City to me, when we were kids......." etc. etc. Well folks, this is the place old Marky Knopler was crooning to us all about. It used have a fun fair including a roller coaster!! and is currently undergoing a massive renovation. It is definitely a piece of North Eastern historic culture.
