Stormy Morning, Tiree

This morning I flew out to Tiree from Oban Airport in what was becoming a gale - so much so that the ferry turned back, apparently. The rain was being driven on the wind too, but around lunchtime it abated and then just before we left to come back, the sun came out. Almost four seasons in one day, as they used to say of the weather in Benbecula. There is a lot of surfing done on Tiree ( as well as lots of other things of course !) This beach indicates why - though it also indicates the weather that passes through.
