A few weeks ago Toddler had her photo taken at nurseryand we were sent three small proof images with the words proof printed on them to pick which one we liked and then order copies if we wanted.

Today the copies of Toddlers chosen nursery photos arrived. It is not as though we dont have enough pictures of her but it is nice to have these classic school style ones for the future and to pass on to relatives.

At first glance I was amazed at how old she looks. At second glance I wondered why the print had a funny colours around her mouth. At third glance we realised it was actually marks on her face of toothpaste and tangerine.

Clearly she did not get her face wiped before the picture was taken. When we looked at the small proof copy of the image that we chose from the printed words "proof" cover the offending facial marks, so we failed to spot them before placing the overpriced order.

In a way it is slightly fitting that she is captured in this state as the normal nursery mornings tend to be quite manic though I do feel the key workers and the photographer should probably have spotted this. An email of complaint may be on the cards me thinks!
