splendor in the grass

I put on the extension tube with the long lens and step out on the backyard. Walking around in the rain, stopping now and then looking for something to frame. I remember H's series of blips with movie titles. Leaves of grass. No, that's a book of poems. Splendor in the grass! An old movie with a young Natalie Wood.

I take several pictures. The camera is getting too wet. I step back into the house and dry it with a towel. As I type this I notice a couple of raindrops on the keyboard.
