Boy its been cold today, if fact baltic. Went off to Chester to take the hard drive back to Maplins. You'd have thought it would be easy to get a refund but NO NO FLAMING NO
I didn't think I'd be back ranting about this but here I go again just got to get it off my chest.
There's a problem with this hard drive it won't work so I'd like a refund PLEASE, I said to the man, "oh whats wrong with it, these don't normally have problems", He made me explain the problem and then got his boss, I then had to tell him, who said "we sell lots of these and never had any problems with the software". Well this one has got a problem. IT DOES NOT WORK
We'll have to send it off to be tested to our head office, we cant do it here, it'll take a week or so, Do you want it repairing, NO I DONT, I just want my money back, do you want a replacement NO I BLUDDY DONT.
A form now comes out and he starts to fill it in, straightforward NO!!!!!!!!!!!!

He now asks again what exactly is wrong with it so he can put it on the form. I tell him from between gritted teeth that the icon which has the reformatting tool in wont open. He says "oh you dont need the software you can open it straight from My Computer". I run on a Mac not PC I say. Oh right I see, you can always install manually. I'VE ALREADY SPOKEN TO THE MANUFACTURERS, Spent nearly an hour on the phone and IT STILL DOES NOT WORK.
Steam coming out of ears now, get given a slip of paper and told they will be in touch and the worst of it is THEY STILL HAVE MY MONEY
I will NEVER EVER EVER Buy anything from there again. I came away with the feeling that they didn't believe me
