In two minds...

So the girly has been to Brownies tonight - which she loves. And I love that she goes and is part of an incredible tradition and movement - it's already done her self-confidence the world of good. She came home very proudly showing off this card that she's made for William and Kate. Now as someone who can take or leave the monarchy I can't actually decide what I think about the forthcoming nuptials. Part of me thinks that it's the kind of occasion that you'll remember long after the happy couple are divorced. I was only ever so slightly older than the girly is now when Charles and Di go married. The other part of me wonders what all the fuss is about but thanks for the day off. We will more than likely end up watching and the girly will certainly be able to write in her card and post it to William & Kate c/o Buckingham Palace, London.
