Claytonia lanceolata

Purslane. Western Spring-Beauty. We call them Spring Beauty. My woodland yard is full of them. They were an emergency pic for me this afternoon.
Second day that I've not been happy with my pictures. Out of focus and too much clutter in them! Ugh. And rain. Ugh. Of course the earlier pics were when it wasn't raining, so I had lots of time, right? Well there you go. Doesn't always work that way I guess. So after reviewing the mess, I put on my rain coat and took pics in the yard. This one is relatively pleasing to me. I guess we all have those days.
