When did the buses get so technologically advanced

Not posted in a while as I've been busy trying to sell my car. So with the car sold and having no transport for a little while I've had to catch the bus to work.
Bear in mind the last time I caught a bus in Reading was over 10 months ago. I catch a bus today to find out it's a hybrid and has free WiFi. Yay. The ability to blip on the way to work.
