Grandmother Tree

I count this tree among my friends and acquaintances - we greet one another on an almost daily basis. I think of her as a rather stern Grandmother - the kind that doesn't suffer fools gladly but would defend you to the bitter end. Her comments, although rather blunt, have taught me a great deal over the years.
(On refelection, I think this blip may have been influenced by a great book that I've just finished reading - "Isa and May" by Margaret Forster. It's all about the relationship between grandmothers and their grandchildren.)
