Wynyard station has these fantastic solid wood escalators. The wooden steps kinda absorb the sound of the old machinery which runs them, it sounds a bit like the bubbles when you hold your head under the water in a jacuzzi*.

Had a couple of minutes to shoot this whilst on the way to some shops. A homeless dude was watching intently and when i decided I had finished he went mental and told Shazanagi and myself to get the f*ck out of his station. I thought better about complementing him on his lovely escalators!

*It is not advisable to hold your head under a jacuzzi because it can partially cook your brain.
