Bench mark

There are bench marks for just about everything aren't there? The bench mark for when the weather has turned really nasty is the availability of seats along the river bank in our village!

Not too many takers for a peaceful afternoon next to the river today, as the weather has turned chilly and blustery, but we have been promised fantastic weather in the second half of the week... just in time for the beginning of the Easter break, the Grand National, and my turn to be on duty at work all weekend. And that is what I think is commonly referred to as Sod's Law!
