Manila, in transit

We arrived this morning at Manila airport where we had to wait 12 hours for our connecting flight to Guam and Chuuk. I was invited by the parents of our cook Arthur, who arrived one day later in Manila. His parents showed me a lot of Manila city. This is the San Agustín Church in Manilla, built between 1587 en 1606, one of the oldest churches in the Phillipines. It survived seven major earthquakes and also a war.
