My Nikon

I am starting to get impatient now. I would really like to upgrade my camera but I am waiting for a new model to come out that is just a rumour. It would be just typical of me to jump in and buy the D300s to find out the rumours are true that it is to be superseded by a new model with much superior spec. How long can I hold out for? I need to stay strong.
