Cost of oil/petrol/diesel is now a joke, so when i spotted this today I knew what my blip was going to be.

I remember my uncle fixing up an Escort RS back in the early 70's (mark 1!), and using pop rivets, oil tins like this that he had cut and flattened, and filler to fill holes in the floor. The MOT examiner even commented on how good a job he had done. Went well with the screwdriver he used for a gearstick ;)
