Happy 18 months gorgeous!

Yep, we have survived the 18mths,
of terror, torture, destruction and pure joy
of this little butter wouldn't melt,
the good and the bad,
the hair raising and the melt worthy moments,
She has made us experience it all,
And every single moment has been worth it!!

In the past couple months, she has started learning so much more,
It won't be long, but here's a 18mth fernie review!

~Is able to understand simple commands
(including....FETCH!)
~loves to explore
(which means fernie non allowed areas being the fav!)
~knows when its time for a nappy change, lays and waits,
(then runs laughing when you finally get there...haha your too slow!)
~loves helping round the house
(see yesterdays blip for the success of this!)
~walks to asda, round asda and back again
(though her sense of direction is slightly different to ours.....)
~She loves visiting the beach and paddling in the sea...
(did I say paddling? who needs a swimsuit!)
~her confidence in the water is growing everyday
(whisper the word bath in the other room and shes frantically trying to get upstairs!)
~Her words are slowly getting there
(she repeats for others, but for us, pppfffttt we should be so lucky!)
~She has discovered the true use of a fork
(doesn't stop her still trying to stick up her nose when she is bored though!!)
~Knows her own mind, and won't stop till she gets her way
(oh cr*p, terrible 2's hitting sooner then required!)
~Loves her cuddles and kisses
(if you like a cuddle followed by a slap followed by a slobbery drool filled kiss, fernies the one for you!!)
~will eat anything and everything
(yesterdays hidden stored left overs in case we dare forget her snack time!)
~has finally settled into a bedtime routine
(mummy, milk, biscuit and huge cuddles, then daddy takes her up, easy....ha try catching her for the bedtime cuddles first....if fernie aint ready forget it!)

No matter the tantrums, the diva moments, the howls of despair when she realises no more skips, the tears when her legs refuse to let her walk any more, if this is fernie, now.....teenage years are going to be a doddle!!

On a serious note, I never in my life dreamed getting this far with her, (for many reasons)
she is (too me, the biased mummy) the most amazing, special, beautiful little girl, she is my world, Words cannot describe the feeling, of looking into those eyes and feeling like the luckiest women alive to have her in my life
