...Jack Daniel's if you please.......
Slightly pee'd off.
After I got home tonight I made a coffee and went straight into work mode. I finished off all the coursework ready for tomorrow. Then I typed up the minutes from last night's meeting. Next I emptied the dish washer. Dealt with a couple of phone calls. Phoned my sister to wish her luck for tomorrow's operation.
Then I decided to get creative in the kitchen. Made a spicy meal with choritzo, mushrooms, spicy sausage, garlic and noodles and served it up for dinner. Tasted great, looked even better so I blipped it. Got it all cropped and ready to down load and the computer coughed and the blip was gone!
So you'll never know what it looked like.....unless I decide to do it again one evening.
So here's my emergency blip....Good old Uncle Jack!
Here's more than you ever wanted to know about Jack Daniel.
JD was one of thirteen children!
He bought his first still when he was 13!
Jack Daniel's is mellowed through hard maple charcoal!
The distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee was the first registered distillery in the USA, so technically it's the oldest US distillery.
The term "sourmash" refers to similarities between making JD and making sourdough bread, specifically that a portion of the previous batch starts the next batch to ensure consistency!
JD Number 7 is 43% alcohol.....Single Barrel is 45%!
Lynchburg is in Moore County, Tennessee, which is officially "dry"..........so JD cannot be sold in the county...................unless the buyer can prove s/he comes from outside the county and is taking the booze immediately beyond the county boundary!
JD won the gold medal at the 1904 World's Fair!
There now, if that doesn't make you want to try it......nothing will.
Go on you know you want to....after all me and Keith Richards can't be wrong!
Nas drovya!
Das vidanya moy padruga.
