THE NEW TRICK...

well, not only do we ride with lead rope around the neck and not attached to the halter, today we decided that we didn't even need the lead rope. Mr H has finally taught himself to be able to get on Larry anytime he likes - and now that he can do it, I"m not sure that its a good idea, but hey, if the horse can handle it and behave, even as green and untrained as he is, then its all about fun and learning.

Mr H managed to convince Larry that he could walk, trot and a small lope around the paddock without visible means of steering or stopping... yet he stopped, turned, backedup and changed speed quite happily. I LOVE this wee horse!
