Sunrise on the Yamazakigawa

This delightful wooden bridge spans the Yamazaki River in Nagoya (near my home). The bridge's name is the Konaigobashi. The greenway along the river stretches for about 3 kilometers and is planted with cherry trees on both sides of the river about every 20 feet. During this season for about 2 weeks, the roads are blocked and people fill the paths strolling and taking pictures or having picnics. It gets kind of crowded at times. In the evening, the trees along this stretch are lit up from below, which offers some really stunning views. If you want to see some other pics of this site, I have a couple of picassa albums here: https://picasaweb.google.com/prochole/

Enjoy!!!
