Delivery

Our son attends a class after school, and is collected and brought home around the same time. So each day I look forward it this: the noise of a car pulling up, the high-pitched chatter, his feet on the steps, the impatient-delighted drilling of the doorbell and the clunk as he pushes the flap of the letterbox open to deliver his alert, out-on-stalks gaze.
