Mist on the Water

More thunder and lightening, with dire warnings of tornadoes and golf ball sized hail. The British are known talking about the weather to excess; we have nothing on the American weather forecasters and local channels, who fill the air waves with excited cries of imminent doom. I was taking Nia to school last week, when my radio channel was filled with the sound of sirens, followed by an imminent tornado warning, and anyone in a mobile home or motor vehicle was advised to seek shelter immediately. Well, it was, luckily, not in the area in which I was driving, but I looked around, through the pelting rain, and thought to myself, 'where should I go? I am on the highway, and the only buildings I see are of the pre-fabricated variety, so presumably not safe. The storm is travelling a 50 mph. That's alright then, I can outrun that; just ask that State Trooper, who gave me the ticket that I was recently working my way out of!! Anyway, the weather is now perfect, another blipmeet is scheduled for later in the week, and I am teetering on the edge of a new camera, so it's a good day. I hope yours will be, or has been, wherever you may be.
