Viva l'Espana

We are away in Girona, near Barcelona, for three days. Partly for an appointment, partly for a break.

Landed here today in the tiny and very efficient airport; picked up car in blazing heat, drove the 10 miles to the city, negotiated windy narrow roads to find our hotel (pulled over by a pol-eece on the way for taking an illegal left turn - there was no sign of it not being allowed. Pol-eece was nice about it). Then a long walk on top of the city walls in 25+ degrees. Awesome.

Tonight: dinner at El Celler de Can Roca, "the 4th best restaurant in the world" and tomorrow, to the Salvador Dali museum in our new friend, Christina Corsa.
