nappy disaster

Amelie has been a bit whingey again today. We had a lazy morning and then got ready for Baby Explorers. She was pretty clingy when we got there too but soon was walking about (!) and showing everyone her new skill. A few of us went to Waitrose afterwards for a coffee. Amelie sat in her highchair alongside the others eating some snacks.

Now - when I had arrived I thought that maybe she had a smelly nappy but it didn't smell too bad and I was hoping that I had been mistaken as the babychange in Waitrose only has an ultraviolet light for some reason and makes nappy changing pretty much guesswork. But to my horror the smell only got worse and I was forced to go and use the horrible baby changing room. And it was SUCH a bad nappy and it had leaked and called for a complete outfit change in the awful changing room! AGH! Typical! We were lucky we weren't both covered in poo by the end of it.

She fell asleep on the way home and a 15 minute powernap was enough to disrupt bedtime by an hour. Oops.
