Puschkinia

Also known as Striped Squill.
Took a photo yesterday which I thought I could re-take today as it's just round the corner - but wasn't so good as the gate had been closed. I'll have to keep looking.
I spent a while taking more pics for my garden record so my blip has had to be one of these, even though I wanted something other than a flower. I got it down to 2, a single wood anemone (the only flower on the plant) with beautiful veined petals, or this one.
I like the way the flowers are emerging from the partially sun-lit leaves.
