Who Has Pinched The Sand?
Dunbar is meant to be a sandy beach.......not a stoney one.
I was down for an ashes scattering today and we got a great day for it.
When I arrived and the women folk headed off to church I thought I would a an early Blip (just in case). I liked the way the petunia was soaking up the sun.
We all headed off to the pub for lunch where I saw this model. I thought is was quite apt as my father-in-law used to love sailing.
Afterwards, as the sun started setting we took our charges for their final walk together.
It is strange the things you see - but how do you lose one wellie?.
Just as we finished our scattering of the ashes there were 3 groups of dogs all met up and it was funny watching the walkers trying to untangle leads and make sure they went home with the right dogs.
At the end of the night my niece had the fun of getting into her car (she has lost the door key), unlocking the door and then climbing out before driving off.
All in all.....not a bad day considering the circumstances
