Hard to tell if its a scene of a domineering wife beater or a hen pecked guy. Oh yeah and in case you dont know.. they are Canada Geese...

Got out for a bit in the sun this morning before the rain came. Found a few riverbank spots for the future. I also found that a few local roads that are on the map have been blocked off apparently for years. Pity as along the closed off bits there look as though thered be spots with a few good views and also one of them goes past a reservoir that has a waterfall nearby from what I have seen online.

It seems to me these small country roads have been closed off because they would make great shortcuts to avoid some of the busy roads and several busy intersections. Perhaps people speeding down these very narrow windy badly paved roads because they found them on google maps or their gps resulted in accidents or somebody thought that was where things were heading so they had them closed down. Strange... Perhaps I'll email the towns authorities and ask... actually all of them are in the same town come to think of it...
