Zinc bar

When we put our kitchen in (not literally), our design had raised shallow cupboards at the back of the counter facing the 'eating' end of the room. We debated what wood to put on top of this for ages then finally thought it would be good to have a zinc top like a Paris bar. Did some research and found that zinc countertops are maximum 3m long. Our need was for 3.3m.

I had the genius idea of getting a roofing company to do it as zinc roofs are well over 3m.

It was done and then I discovered that Paris bar counters are called zinc, but actually made of pewter.

Damn.
