It was only yesterday I was....

.....doing all superior and self-congratulating on a running a lean mean wardrobe when I reading my sisters post on Facebook about clearing out hers and finding horrors going as far back as the ninties! Oh how the mighty have fallen. I tried on last years summer clothes to find they are all falling off me which is rather pleasing but thinking I'd have to go shoping filled me with horror.

Then I remembered I'd put away a 'few bits & bobs' in the loft 11 years ago in the vain hope I might fit in to them 'one day'! So off I trotted to the loft expecting to find a suitcase of clothes only to be confronted with too many bags of clothes spanning from the ninties to a few years ago. I developed a good chuck & pass on habit since. I also found all of my soon to be 11 year old son's baby clothes too!

I am chuckling at some of the stuff I wore, the short skirts, could have passed as a curtain pelmuts, horrid business suits when I went throught that disgusting power dressing phase, clothes bought for celebrations and events, my wedding dress (I was good only spent £75 on it!).

Most of the stuff can move on to new homes, along with last years summer wardrobe too and I'm going to pull out a few bits from yesteryears wardrobes for this and hopefully many summers to come because I am not shopping next year either!

Better go hide the piles of baby clothes before the ten year old returns and accuses me of showing him up in front of his friends. It was just so cute to take one final look at some his stuff before it moves on to new homes too!
