Fast Shiny Things

Ever since my dad first let me ride on his little Suzuki (me on the petrol tank, my sister behind him...I know, I know, but we only went a little way and this was the 1970s) I've been kind of fascinated by motorbikes. He progressed to a rather larger Kawasaki when I was about 8 and I have vivid memories of riding on the back, leaning into the corners we were speeding around as I was consciously reminding myself that I trusted him to keep me safe.

I've never seriously considered owning my own bike, but I do walk past this showroom on a regular basis and often wonder if it would be as much fun now as it is in my memory.
