A winking shisa!
Today was the 2008 San Francisco Okinawan Kenjin-Kai New Year's Party. A mouthful. Too bad my group, Kijimuna, wasn't able to perform this year. School is very time consuming. Instead, my sister and I were given "Membership Dues" duty. It was hectic. The program itself was very good though, and aside from this awesome picture (which has my past-professor inside as the shisa) I took many other lovely pictures.
Yesterday was not so great. In fact, it was one of those days where I wish didn't happen. Long story short, I spent too much time in fucking San Jose with people I didn't know. The research we were supposed to be doing that day was just 10% of that day. It was frustrating. I literally wanted to get home to my apartment just so I could scream in a pillow.
Pretty soon, I gotta move outta my apartment. I don't want to! I love where I live, but it's just too damn expensive. SIGH.
