Silent night

My baby boy loves spending time on his activity mat playing with his toys. Tonight however they are all having a well earned rest and so is mammy and daddy. My son is staying with his nanna and grandpa this evening and the house feels so empty without him. He has been recovering from a nasty stomach bug and had been quite a handful to look after of late. Last night he woke up numerous times and so we are rather tired to say the least. I'm enjoying the peace and quiet but although my son has only been in our lives 6 months the house feels so lifeless without him.
