Maple Syrup Pancakes!!!!

We celebrated Martin's finishing up of cleaning and organizing my back workroom space with a MAPLE SYRUP Pancake and sausage breakfast!! The delicious OHIO MAPLE SYRUP came across the states from fellow sweet blipper Skip and her ever faithful blipper supporter husband Bob!

A couple days ago the dogs barked wildly as the UPS truck stopped to make a delivery. And the delivered box contained a wonderful surprise of OHIO maple syrup--the best ever made--and some scrumptious maple spread and yummy maple candies. This brought back SWEET childhood memories for me of growing up in OHIO maple syrup country. As a kid we traditionally went out to Burton and Chardon Ohio to see the maple syrup sap being drawn from the trees and then cooked up into syrup. We sampled goodies and brought home syrup each time.

Skip even sent the syrup from the place I always return to for more when I go "home" to Ohio. Big R and I even honeymooned out near Burton so many many maple syrup memories were awakened. Thank you SKIP AND BOB!!! And today's pancakes were made all the better with this special topping;)
