Sunset on the Way Home

Mr Lif has been trying to take some street scenes with people in them this week. As we live in a village which doesn't really provide this I suggested that we head into town this evening. Himself was delighted as he saw it as yet another opportunity for an early evening pint :)

We sat outside for our drink which was pleasant until the sun went down and the cold wind took a grip. Numb fingers for me - perhaps we are a tad early in declaring the cafe culture season open up here in the frozen north. So we headed home and on the way home, himself duly responded to my shriek of STOP! The sun was going down behind the hill and the sky had become quite red. This shot is as it was....no tinkering just a little crop - very orangey indeed

And only one more sleep till the weekend :) Result!
