Is summer here? How long will it stay? It's surely just a cruel trick being played by the weather related cousin of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Walking over the meadows/links on a sunny evening, making my way home from a tough, combative day in the office and I spot one of the council approved BBQ spots. I wish I was a student back living in Marchmont (briefly, then I remember all the other crap that came with that), just nip out the front door and on to the meadows for some sausages and burgers on a dodgy disposable bbq - great fun.

Just give me a good weekend at the end of August and I'll be happy.
