On My Doorstep

Flower

I don't do Flowers. Well, not normally.

I remember doing a bluebell soon after getting my macro lens. But I've learnt over the years that I discard my photos of flowers when I am pruning my albums. After a day or two they cease to be attractive for me, as photos.

This flower grows close to the ground and as it droops shows its glory to the soil but not to humans, unless you pick it. So I had to pick this one.

The very thing about flowers is that they are transient, always being overtaken. Who am I to perpetuate them?
