Two Important Letters
On the 27th March last year, a mentally ill young woman, who was temporarily placed in the Home where I work, got very angry with me, because she didn't want to go to work and I insisted that she had to.
She hit me, kicked me on the knee, spat me in the face, held a knife to my throat and asked me to decide if I wanted to live or die.
Today I received two important letters.
The first one told me that the court case against the young woman will be on the 23rd of May and I have to be there to testiify.
The second one said that I need further examinations to determine if the injuries to my knee (from the kicks) are permanent so that I can get compensation.
It is more than a year since the assault and the case is not even close to closure.
Sigh!
