Lawnmageddon
I like to ignore the lawn in the winter months and pretend that my garden only extends as far as the edge of the decking. So it's hardly surprising that the grass has taken on a life of its own and grown to towering heights. However today I could ignore it no longer and decided it was time to get my trusty flymo and beat it into submission.
Of course, I have left it for so long that it was impossible to do a proper job so it now looks like a student hairdresser has been let loose on it with a pair of blunt scissors. In my next life I am going to just have decking and gravel, or be rich enough to employ a gardener.
